I like the way the author handles the relationship between law and grace and how the Christian should relate to the law. There is no need to deny obedience to God’s law, only—like the apostle—to deny the necessity of the law for salvation. The author manages to present this balance well; it is highly recommendable.

This commentary provides the necessary depth while taking a clear “side” in the debates. Moo is very effective in his exegesis, which does not ignore systematic theology as a whole.
Longenecker, Richard N. Galatians. WBC. Thomas Nelson, 1990.

It really deserves first place on this list.
Bruce, F. F. The Epistle to the Galatians. NIGTC. Eerdmans, 1982.

The author makes some inferences without providing concrete support, and from time to time adds to the text things that are not actually there. In the commentary on 2:12, for example, he infers what the message might have been without presenting any substantial argument.

For me the greatest thing on this book is the link that he does with the New Testament, I haven't seen like this in any other commentary.

It has a good view of the literary context, with schemes that help to organize the idea of the text
