1 and 2 Kings. BTCB. Brazos Press, 2006.
I've been using this while preaching through 1 Kings. Wonderfully rich and stimulating. Leithart is brilliant at theologically reading the narrative and tracing scriptural trajectories.
The Acts of the Apostles. PNTC. Eerdmans, 2009.
Having just spend the last year working on a dissertation in the book of Acts i can safely say that if i could have only one commentary on my shelves on the book of Acts it would be Peterson's. It is thorough, addresses well all the main issues, takes the best from previous research, and includes both technical and theological comment. An outstanding commentary.
Nahum, Habakkuk, Zephaniah. WEC. Moody, 1991.
A very fine little commentary for the pastor who still uses Hebrew. Provides plenty of interaction with the Hebrew, with some excellent theological insight for the preacher. Often overlooked but well worth it - cheap compared to others.
