Ironsides is good from a devotional view and has some interesting observations but there is simply not enough here to be considered useful. Many of Ironside's books are really just lecture transcripts and not true commentaries.

Phillips is always good from a non-technical perspective. He (mainly) sticks to the text of the Authorized Version but does make an occasional minor change. His outlines are worth the price of the book.
