Most up-to-date translations of the Bible do not cross-reference quotations from the Old Testament in the New Testament, leaving students unaware of the importance of its influence. This work contains essays on the question of how one identifies what is quotation and the understanding of the Old Testament that the New Testament writers had. The main body of the work consists of a list of all cross-references in both directions, which should act as a useful resource.
