Reviews
Tanner’s commentary (EEC) is my favorite on Daniel, and where Archer and Tanner disagree, I tend to lead toward’s Tanner’s conclusions. Nevertheless, I’ve read several other commentaries on the book, and this one stood out to me. Archer is particularly strong on the history in chapters 8 and 11, but the whole commentary is worth consulting.
