Reviews
Fernando’s commentary has outstanding sections on the book’s contemporary significance and international scope. The “original meaning” and “bridging contexts” sections are solid, but the book’s strength is its helpful sections on application.
[Full Review]
Well, I'm not sure how you define a commentary. Certainly expected more. Most of the book is filled with other writings. Authors thoughts, or "soap boxes" as the other reviewer mentioned ...etc. instead of devoting more space to the actual commenting on the verses. Seldom use it anymore.
This is a very practical commentary. It is one of the best NIVAC. Every now and then it seems that the author finds a soap box on an issue, but very useful.
