ESV Study Bible

The ESV Study Bible has been my daily driver since it was originally published in 2008. The notes are more relevant, interesting, and insightful than any other study Bible I've read. The extra resources, essays, and study guides in the back of the Bible are worth the price of the whole Bible. Do keep in mind that the study notes represent the theological and historical views of Crossway which tend to be conservative and Evangelical, sometimes even more so than the average Evangelical today. This does, however, make it stand apart from the typical eclectic study bibles from other publishers. The ESV Study Bible more internally consistent, historically informed, and self-aware than any other study Bible out there.

An excellent resource for information. The few minor complaints I have are mostly personal gripes with the quality of the product rather then the content.

This study Bible truly is the best of the best. It has the best footnotes, charts, maps, articles, and information of any study Bible. If I could only have one resources in my entire library, this would be it.
