Sklar’s commentary on Exodus is well written and easily understood by modern-day readers. He not only does a phenomenal job presenting the historical and socio-cultural context, but he also makes it clear and easy to follow. Although it is part of a series, it truly is a gem. I might be a little biased because he is one of my professors, but Jay has a way of communicating that is both professional pastoral.
