The chapters broke down the subjects and presented them in a thoughtful and logical manner. With so much pseudo-science and garbage out there it is difficult to find a book such as this.     Gilbert and Peck aren't the first to build a case for the supernatural explanation of UFO encounters. However, they provide a much needed new discussion on the subject. These abductions and other close encounters mimic supernatural encounters throughout the ages. Each age describes them in terms of their technology and culture. This book begins by showing the sinister and supernatural roots of the modern UFO religion(s).

    The authors connect these UFOs with the not-so-mythical gods of the ancient world. The bible has more references to this reality than many may think. Gilbert and Peck only go so far in this discussion, since it is detailed in great length in their other books (like Gilbert's Last Clash of the Titans, or their frequent scholar, Michael Heiser's Unseen Realm).

    The probably could have cut back on the wikileak email section a bit, and the Israel connection chapter doesn't add a lot. There is a detailed discussion on theological issues relating the actual aliens (if they were to exist). What was needed was a chapter on the unlikelihood of aliens existing at all (see the works of Hugh Ross such as Why the Universe is the Way it Is, or Designed to the Core). Perhaps a section on how physical craft sightings are likely government tech was in order, too (see Farrell's Roswell and the Reich, or Jacobsen's Area 51). Their appendix on multidimensional issues is interesting (see also Hugh Ross' Beyond the Cosmos for more on multidimensional physics and theological implications).

    In the current UFO craze people want to assume aliens. Alien life is unlikely, but our history shows something else has been at work for centuries. It may be uncomfortable and surprising, but the truth is what it is and needs to be considered. The religion of UFOs is convoluted and manipulated as a major part of evil's war with man. See also Hugh Ross' Lights in the Sky and Little Green Men.

    I bought this on skywatch TV but figured I better review it here.
    I've read a lot of UFO books over the years but this is one of the best. Josh Peck and Derek Glibert research the origins of the UFO & Alien Phenomenon and expose its roots in theosophy, witchcraft, paganism, and other various spiritual belief systems. They also delve into the modern UFO culture and show how it in itself is beginning to emerge as a religion. I think that even a non-Christian, with enough research into this field, has to admit that whatever this whole 'alien' thing is, the evidence shows that we are dealing with something that is spiritual and possibly inter-dimensional as opposed to physical and extra-terrestrial. Even if you're a skeptic on that front, the connections to occult activities are evident and undeniable. Peck and Gilbert managed to make this an easy-read so I blew through in a couple days.

    I found it convoluted and confusing. For example the authors state that angels have no need to reproduce because they are immortal, and tehy state that because it says in Jude that the fallen angels are kept bound by everlasting chains, then they likewise would have to be immortal. (There’s a lot of extrapolation in this book!). And presumably also therefore don’t/can’t procreate? Soooo.. how does this fit into the assumed fact that the fallen angels interbred with human women and created the nephilim? See what I mean? If you have read Unseen Realm by Michael Heiser then pass this one by. Oh and if you have read Unseen Realm, there isnt anything really to be gained by reading his book on Angels either :/
