Top Highlights

“Faith means trusting in God and His Word. Faith does not mean that we either know or understand what His specific purpose in our lives may be. It means a ready willingness to follow Him whatever His purpose.” (Page 70)

“Notice that these men of faith would not have regarded their deaths in the flames to be a failure of faith but rather an indication of God’s will.” (Page 70)

“(2) They were completely submissive to God’s will, whatever that might be:” (Page 69)

“In stark contrast, true faithfulness in Scripture is first exercised in small things and in private. If we fail there, any faithfulness we show in public will be hypocrisy, a performance for the crowd and not an expression of loyalty to our Lord.” (Page 33)

“God not only revealed facts about history in advance; He revealed Himself to Daniel, impressing on him something of His own awesome and glorious purposes. Miss this and we miss almost everything.” (Page 134)
